User Agreement for Hanki App Oy (Clarvo)

Welcome to Clarvo!

‍This User Agreement (the "Agreement") governs your use of the services provided by Hanki App oy, also known as Clarvo ("Clarvo," "we," "us," or "our"), through our website clarvo.ai (the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you ("you" or "user") agree to be bound by this Agreement. Please read this Agreement carefully before using the Platform.

‍Clarvo provides an online platform that connects job seekers with potential employers. Our services are currently provided to users free of charge. We may, at our sole discretion, introduce new or modify existing services on the Platform.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep your information updated.

By creating an account, you acknowledge and agree that Clarvo may:
- Access and review publicly available information from your professional profiles (such as LinkedIn) to verify and update your employment status and other career-related information
- Use this information to enrich and maintain the accuracy of your Clarvo profile
- Use this information to improve our matching services and Platform functionality

‍3. User Responsibilities

‍You agree to use the Platform in a lawful and responsible manner. You shall not:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

‍4. Intellectual Property

‍The Platform and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Clarvo or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use the Platform's content without our prior written consent.By submitting content to the Platform, you grant Clarvo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content for the purpose of providing and improving our services.  

‍5. Third-Party Services

‍The Platform may integrate with third-party services, such as Google Analytics and OpenAI. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. You agree to comply with such terms and conditions when using these services through the Platform.

‍6. Disclaimer of Warranties

‍The Platform is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. Clarvo disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Clarvo shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Platform, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, and punitive damages.

‍Clarvo is committed to protecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

‍Clarvo reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. We will post the updated Agreement on the Platform with a notice of the changes. Your continued use of the Platform after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.

‍Hanki App Oy, also known as Clarvo, is a company based in Finland, and we operate an online marketplace that connects companies with job seekers. Our platform uses an algorithm-based employment mediation platform accessible through our website, www.clarvo.ai. In this privacy policy, we refer to ourselves as "Clarvo," "we," "us," or "our."

Companies looking to hire users from Clarvo will only see anonymized versions of users. This means they can not see the name or contact details of the user until a user expresses interest in the opportunity.

Clarvo only processes personal data that we obtain from you and your provided sources. This includes information provided by you from third parties such as filling in data through LinkedIn. Please note that your anonymity on the website is not absolute. Your Clarvo user account is connected to your email address, so your identity may be identifiable to Clarvo.

1.2 Other Personal Data

In addition to the personal data collected during registration, Clarvo can offer further services from company representatives.

When offering further services such as:
- CV review 
- Career consulting 
- Career orientation 
- Interview training 
- Workshops

We may use information provided by you to collect data on your profile. Additionally, we may collect and use information from your publicly available professional profiles (such as LinkedIn, GitHub, or other professional networking sites) to enrich and update your Clarvo profile. This may include information about your professional experience, skills, achievements, and other career-related information that you have made publicly available. This is done to help connect you with companies that match the user's ambitions and preferences.

2. LEGAL GROUNDS AND PROCESSING PURPOSES

‍2.1 Clarvo may process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:

- Processing is necessary for the performance of the agreement between you and Clarvo.
- Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject.

Companies are obligated to process your personal data only in accordance with Clarvo's privacy policy.

3. AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING

‍We use an algorithm to automatically connect you with suitable job openings based on the profile you submit to our platform. The decision is made based on the personal data you provide. Our automated processing of your data is necessary to carry out the tasks outlined in our terms of service.

If you do not agree to the automated processing of your personal data, we will be unable to provide you with our services or allow you to become a user of our website.

4. INTEGRITY AND RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

‍Clarvo will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was initially collected or processed. You always have the right to request your data to be deleted. We will delete your personal data at the latest within 1 month of requesting your data to be deleted.
