Welcome to Clarvo and Jobgeek!

This User Agreement (the "Agreement") governs your use of the services provided by Clarvo Oy ("Clarvo", "we", "us", or "our"). Our services include our websites clarvo.ai and jobgeek.ai (collectively, the "Websites"), our browser extension (the "Extension"), and any other related software or services we provide (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you ("you" or "user") agree to be bound by this Agreement. Please read this Agreement carefully before using the Services.

1. Our Services

Clarvo provides online Services that connect job seekers with potential employers. These Services include the Websites, which host our job-seeking platforms, and the Extension, which helps users fill job applications on third-party websites.

Our Services are currently provided to users free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce fees for our Services in the future. We will notify you in advance of any such changes, and your continued use of the Services after such notification will constitute your agreement to any new fees.

2. User Accounts

To access our Services, you are required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it updated.

As a core part of providing our Services, our platform performs a number of data processing activities. For a full and detailed description of how we process your personal data and the legal basis for each activity, you must read and understand our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

3. Eligibility and Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years of age to use our Services. By creating an account and using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

4. Browser Extension License and Use

4.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, Clarvo grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to download, install, and use the Extension on a web browser that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purpose of applying for jobs.

4.2 Restrictions

You agree not to (and not to permit anyone else to):

• Copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Extension
• Rent, lease, loan, sell, or distribute the Extension
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Extension
• Use the Extension for any purpose other than its intended purpose

4.3 Updates

You acknowledge that Clarvo may, from time to time, issue upgraded versions of the Extension and may automatically electronically upgrade the version that you are using. You consent to such automatic upgrading and agree that the terms of this Agreement will apply to all such upgrades.

5. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services in a lawful and responsible manner. In addition to your other obligations under this Agreement, you shall not:

• Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Use the Extension for any purpose other than applying for employment opportunities on your own behalf
• Use the Extension to scrape data from any third-party website
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, the Websites, the Extension, or the servers and networks connected to them
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

You are solely responsible for any content you submit to the Services. You agree not to post content that is false, defamatory, infringing on intellectual property rights, or otherwise unlawful. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates this Agreement.

6. Intellectual Property

The Services and their content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Clarvo or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

By submitting content to the Services (such as company reviews), you grant Clarvo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content for the purpose of providing, promoting, and improving our Services.

7. Third-Party Services and Websites

7.1 Integrated Services

The Services may integrate with third-party services that we use to provide functionality, such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and AI service providers. Our use of these services is governed by our Privacy Policy.

7.2 Websites Accessed via the Extension

The Extension is designed to interact with third-party job application websites. You acknowledge that Clarvo does not own, operate, or control these third-party websites. You are solely responsible for your interactions with them. We strongly encourage you to review their terms of service and privacy policies before submitting personal information.

8. AI-Assisted Features

Our Services use AI algorithms to match job seekers with potential employers, generate profile summaries, and surface relevant opportunities. These features act as recommendation and prioritization tools. While we strive to provide accurate and useful results, we do not guarantee that all matches will be perfect or that you will find employment through our Services.

Our AI does not make automated hiring decisions. All final decisions regarding employment are made by human recruiters at the companies using our platform. For more information on how our AI works and your rights in relation to it, please see Section 6 of our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Finnish law, Clarvo expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will meet your specific requirements, result in employment, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Clarvo Oy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Clarvo Oy, its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Services; (b) your violation of this Agreement; or (c) your violation of any third-party right.

12. Referral Program

Clarvo may offer a referral program from time to time. The terms and conditions of any such program will be made available to you separately. By participating, you agree to be bound by those terms.

13. Termination

You may terminate this Agreement at any time by deleting your account and ceasing to use the Services.

Clarvo reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of this Agreement. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease, and your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We encourage you to contact us at info@clarvo.ai in the first instance to resolve any issues. For users residing in the European Union, the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be finally settled by the District Court of Helsinki, Finland, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides you with the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.

15. Changes to This Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Agreement on our Websites or through other communication. Your continued use of the Services after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.
